Job summary

NCFE is seeking Examiners to join our Assessment Delivery team on a flexible worker contract for the T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism - Supporting the Midwifery Team).

You will mark external assessments and submit results during the summer 2027 marking window, ensuring learners receive fair, consistent, and accurate outcomes. If you are a Midwifery educator, lecturer, or assessor, this is an ideal opportunity to apply your expertise to student assessment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms.
• Ability to work consistently within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately.
• Report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team.
• Attend examiner standardisation and other meetings remotely and during the marking window.
• Maintain confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials and learner details, reporting breaches as needed.
