Job summary

NCFE is seeking Examiners to join its Assessment Delivery team on a flexible worker contract for the T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism - Supporting the Adult Nursing Team). As an Examiner, you'll mark external assessments and submit results during the summer 2027 marking window to help ensure learners receive fair, consistent, and accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms.
• Ability to work consistently within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Following and maintaining the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately.
• Reporting suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team.
• Attending examiner standardisation and other meetings; remote standardisation events scheduled on weekdays 9:00–17:00 before marking window.
• Maintaining confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and details.
