Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects across the Midlands. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, and ensure works align with drawings, specifications and programme.

We require strong knowledge of construction processes, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a solid commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site operations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Relevant qualifications, ideally including SMSTS.
• CSCS and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Ensuring work meets drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.
• Liaising with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, clients and consultants.
• Managing site documentation, quality records and inspections.
• Coordinating deliveries, materials, plant and site logistics.
• Identifying and resolving site issues promptly.
• Leading site meetings and toolbox talks where required.
