Job summary

Char.gy is seeking a Project Engineer based in the Midlands to support delivery projects across the UK. The role covers electrical installations, site surveys, and maintenance of charging points, with a focus on quality and Health & Safety.

You will work with Project Managers, engineers, and suppliers, traveling UK-wide and often staying away overnight as required. Based from the Coventry depot, you will ensure right-first-time installations, manage supplier relationships, and uphold project

Qualifications

• Based from the Coventry depot covering the Midlands region with ability to travel UK wide
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders; leadership qualities
• Track record delivering civils and electrical installations

Responsibilities

• Complete survey, electrical installations (test and commission), charge point maintenance, fault root cause analysis and site and/or supplier audits (quality and H&S)
• Support the project managers to ensure CPs required under the customer contract are delivered safely to time, cost and quality
• Manage Suppliers quality and site safety in the field – ensure assigned suppliers are engaged with clear instructions and expectations
• Complete site surveys as part of the site selection ensuring optimal asset locations meet Network Planning criteria
• Complete site inspection surveys to enable delivery of Char.gy projects
• Ensure project information is shared to all stakeholders; manage risks and issues.
