Ground Control is seeking an EV Engineer to cover Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and surrounding areas. You will maintain customer assets, perform inspections, testing and fault-finding, and deliver small electrical projects with independence.

You will work with Energy Solutions to broaden expertise in EV charging, renewable energy and water-efficiency measures, while travelling regionally and maintaining high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical qualifications and regulatory certifications.
• Experience in electrical inspection, testing, fault diagnosis and remedial works.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regionally and stay overnight occasionally.
• Emergency First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accurate documentation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the region.
• Deliver small works projects from start to finish including surveys and handovers.
• Coordinate materials, subcontractors and customer communications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and quote remedies.
• Maintain records, test results, photos and safety information.
• Build positive customer relationships and ensure safety, quality and service.
