Job summary

Char.gy is expanding its Midlands operations and seeks a Project Engineer to deliver electrical installations and maintenance of public charging points across the UK. You will join a growth-focused team and work to right‑first‑time standards while coordinating with delivery partners.

You will report to the Team Leader and ensure high safety, quality and timely delivery across multiple projects, with travel across sites including overnight stays. Coventry-based role with regional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Based from the Coventry depot covering the Midlands region and UK travel.
• Experience delivering civils and electrical installations.
• Willing communicator with stakeholders across delivery teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of charging points.
• Maintenance and retesting (18th Edition) of charging points.
• Conduct site surveys to enable delivery and asset selection.
• Supervise on-site activity and resolve issues with suppliers and customers.
• Health and safety audits and compliance on site.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and project managers.
• Ensure clear delivery information and documentation.
• Travel nationally with company vehicles; overnight stays as needed.
