WR Engineering is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for packaging machinery in the Midlands. This is a hunter role targeting new business with FMCG manufacturers, handling the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing orders.

You will generate opportunities, conduct site visits, and present tailored machinery solutions, negotiating contracts to secure orders and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Competitive package with car and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience selling packaging machinery into the FMCG/food manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Self-motivated, proactive and well organised.
• Ability to manage a field-based territory.

Responsabilités

• Generate and win new business across the Midlands.
• Develop relationships with food and FMCG manufacturers.
• Identify packaging challenges and tailor machinery solutions.
• Conduct customer meetings, demonstrations and site visits.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts through to order.
• Maintain an active pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Work with engineering and project teams to ensure delivery.
