Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer in Aldridge (West Midlands). You will join a well-established team focused on planned servicing and preventative maintenance of forklifts and material handling equipment, with a 40-hour week and door-to-door pay.

The ideal candidate has previous field service or maintenance experience, a full UK driving licence, and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service, Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience with forklift trucks or material handling equipment.
• Mechanical engineering or maintenance background.
• Able to work independently and manage own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance on forklifts.
• Perform safety inspections (brakes, hydraulics, mast, forks).
• Check engine fluids or battery condition and charging as applicable.
• Record service reports detailing checks and work performed.
