Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced EV Project Manager to lead the delivery of EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects in the Manchester area. You will own projects from mobilisation and design through procurement, construction and handover, coordinating clients, design teams, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires commercial awareness, technical capability and strong site leadership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing electrical, power, EV or infrastructure projects.
Strong project management and delivery experience.
Experience coordinating design and construction activities.
Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Good understanding of electrical infrastructure and construction processes.
Strong health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of EV infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to handover.
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery plans.
Coordinate design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
Manage electrical and civil contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate grid connections and regulatory/compliance requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
Lead project meetings and provide progress, financial and risk reporting.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans.
Manage variations and commercial issues; maintain project profitability.
