The Whole Caboodle, established in 1994, is a dynamic and forward-thinking agency based in Harrogate, seeking a driven and experienced Digital Media Planner Buyer to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-weight professional (3-5 years' experience) to take ownership of key client accounts and shape impactful media strategies.

About the Role:

As our Digital Media Planner Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel media campaigns for a diverse range of automotive clients. You will leverage the latest digital platforms to drive tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive digital media plans across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid social media platforms.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding and practical application of the latest features and best practices within these platforms.
  • Integrating digital strategies with traditional media channels, including broadcast (TV/Radio), ambient, and outdoor advertising.
  • Analyzing campaign performance, providing insightful reports, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, media owners, and suppliers.
  • Contributing to the strategic growth and development of the media planning and buying function within the agency.
  • Playing a key role in training and mentoring other team members, contributing to overall skill development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in a Digital Media Planner Buyer role within an agency environment.
  • Full proficiency and demonstrable expertise across key digital platforms: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and other relevant paid social channels (TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • A solid understanding and appreciation for the role of traditional media (broadcast, ambient, outdoor) within a broader media mix.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a passion for the evolving media landscape.
  • Must reside within easy commutable distance of our Harrogate office, as this is an office-based role to facilitate team collaboration and training.
