Job summary

St Gildas Catholic Primary School in Yeovil is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant for lunchtime duties during term time. The role involves supervising children at midday, maintaining a calm, safe and inclusive environment, and supporting positive play and good behaviour.

You will work as part of a friendly school team, bringing energy, patience and kindness to every hour. The post is permanent and reflects term-time hours, with a start date of 1 September 2026 and a salary on grade

Midday Supervisory Assistant, Full Set-up and Clearing - St Gildas Catholic Primary School, Yeovil

Salary: Grade 16 Scale point 2 - £4,638.47 (actual)

Hours: 7.90 per week, 11.50am-1.25pm, Monday – Friday

Start date: 1st September 2026

Contract: Permanent, Term time only
