Job summary

Ivy Lane Primary School is seeking a committed and flexible individual to fulfill a linked role as a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisory Assistant. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and liaison skills, working closely with the class teacher and wider team to provide high-quality support across the classroom.

In addition, the role includes responsibilities as an MDSA, supporting children during lunchtime in both the dining hall and on the playground to help

Job description

Teaching Assistant and Mid-day Supervisory Assistant – Ivy Lane Primary School

Salary range: D4-D6 - £25,185–£25,989 FTE
Actual Salary: £15,688–£16,188 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Part-time
Working hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-12noon & 1.00pm-3.00pm

Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA)
Salary: B3 - £24,796 FTE
Actual Salary: £1404 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Part-time
Working hours: 2.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 12noon-12.30pm

Both roles are interlinked, so if you resign from one, you must resign from the other simultaneously.

Job Summary
