Job summary

Our Lady & St Anne’s Catholic Primary School in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to supervise pupils at the midday break and support a friendly staff team. The role focuses on safe, caring supervision during lunch and playtime.

Applicants should be able to communicate well with children, be flexible, and willing to participate in training. DBS and safeguarding checks will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Ability to use language and communication suited to children.
• Active listening and empathy with pupils.
• Ability to follow school policies including behaviour management and Health & Safety.
• Willingness to work with colleagues and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and care to pupils during the midday break.
