Job summary

Midday Supervisory Assistant – 7.5 hpw (Term Time Only) at Simonside Primary School, Jarrow. Salary: £26,016 per annum pro rata (£13.48 per hour). Fixed term contract to 31 August 2027, with hours 12:00–13:30, Monday to Friday. Required from October 2026.

You will join our team of Midday Supervisory Assistants to supervise pupils during lunchtime. Experience of working with young people is expected. DBS disclosure will be sought as part of pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• DBS Disclosure required (Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service) before employment.
