Job summary

Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to help ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils. The role involves supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground, supporting dining activities and promoting healthy choices.

You will work as part of a team to uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards. The position is part-time (7.5 hours per week) with a fixed annual salary, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children

Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour and safe, happy play at lunchtime.
• Supervise pupils in dining hall and playground, follow health & safety procedures.
• Assist with eating and dietary needs, promote healthy choices.
• Set up, clear, wipe down and move tables and trays in dining hall.
• Provide support to pupils with personal care, mobility or 1:1 needs if required.
• Deal calmly with minor accidents or behavioural incidents and report concerns.
• Maintain order and safeguarding of all children.
• Follow school lunchtime policies and instructions.

Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Actual Salary: £4,063.12 per annum

Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team and help ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote positive behaviour and encourage safe, happy play during the lunchtime period
2. Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
3. Support pupils with eating, including promoting healthy choices and being mindful of dietary requirements and allergies
4. Assist with setting up, clearing, wiping down, and moving tables and trays in the dining hall
5. Provide appropriate support to pupils with personal care, mobility, feeding, or 1:1 needs where required
6. Deal calmly and effectively with minor accidents or behavioural incidents, reporting concerns appropriately
7. Maintain good order and discipline, safeguarding the wellbeing of all children
8. Follow school policies, procedures, and instructions relating to lunchtime arrangements
