Job summary

Greenwood Primary and Nursery School is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring lunchtime safety, supervising pupils, and creating a fun, positive environment for all learners.

The post offers the opportunity to support pupils during lunchtime routines, outdoor play, and dining, working within our supportive school community within the Flying High Partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime and play.
  • Assist with safe movement in the dinner hall and outdoor areas.
  • Support pupils with SEN to access lunchtime activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive play.
  • Ensure pupils are cared for, looked after and kept safe while at school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helping to ensure lunchtime runs smoothly.
  • Support and supervise pupils with SEN.
  • Supporting pupils eating their dinner in the dinner hall.
  • Supporting pupils playing outside.
  • Ensuring that all pupils are cared for, looked after and kept safe.
