Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council seeks Midday Supervisors at Swanland Primary School to supervise children at lunchtimes and ensure safe play on the playground and in the dining hall.

This part-time, term-time role runs 11:55am–1:15pm on Mondays and Tuesdays (with potential flexibility for right applicants). DBS clearance is required; uniform and basic health and safety training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at lunchtimes on the playground and in classrooms as needed.

Midday Supervisors, Part-Time, Term Time only, Required: as soon as possible: £25,614 pa pro rata (£13.28 per hour) Hours: 11.55am-1.15pm (1 hour 20 minutes per day) Days: Monday and Tuesday (we are happy to consider alternative days for the right applicant(s).

We currently have vacancies for Midday Supervisors at Swanland Primary School (part of Edukos Trust).

The role involves supervising the children at lunchtimes, both on the playground and in the classrooms if it is raining, making sure the children are playing safely and monitoring lunchtimes in the dinner hall, including some basic cleaning/wiping of tables.

Some experience of working with children would be desirable but not essential. Uniform and basic health and safety training will be provided.
