Job summary

Raynsford Church of England Academy is seeking a part-time Midday Assistant to supervise lunchtimes and help raise pupils’ social achievements. You will ensure a safe, enjoyable lunch experience and support children needing extra help so they can engage and learn in the afternoon.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 11.45am to 1.15pm, totaling 7.5 hours per week, during term time. The position requires a friendly, proactive approach to pupil welfare.

Job description

Midday Assistants have a shared role within the school in helping to raise the social achievements of pupils. They are responsible for ensuring that lunchtimes are an enjoyable and safe experience for all the children, so that they are physically and mentally prepared to learn during the afternoon. Our midday supervisors also support identified children that need additional adult support to be able to effectively enjoy their lunchtime.
