Job summary

St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our school community and create a positive lunchtime experience for pupils. No previous school experience required, as we provide training and guidance.

You will work with children to support their safety, independence and social interaction, contributing to a happy and inclusive school day. This part-time, permanent role fits around the school timetable.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; training provided.
• Must be a friendly, positive and proactive communicator.
• Ability to work well with children and staff in a school setting.

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our school community and help make lunchtimes a positive, enjoyable experience for every pupil.

You don't need to have worked in a school before. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and can bring patience, warmth and a positive attitude to the role. You'll be a great communicator, a supportive team player and someone who can use their initiative when needed. Most importantly, you'll understand that even the smallest interactions can make a lasting difference to a child's day.

Lunchtime is about much more than just eating! It's an important part of the school day when children develop friendships, build confidence, learn to work together and, of course, have some fun.

Salary: Band 1, SCP 3 Actual annual salary: £5,090 per annum.

Hours: 8.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Contract: Permanent, part-time.
