Job summary

Swingate Primary School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to help provide a high-quality lunch-time experience for our pupils. You will be part of a friendly team and play a key role in safeguarding and engaging children during lunch and play times.

The role is term-time only, 5 hours per week (12:00pm–1:00pm, Monday to Friday). Previous experience in a primary school is desirable but not essential; the appointment is subject to DBS and references.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a primary school would be desirable but is not essential.
• Ability to engage and manage children during lunch times.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise during lunchtimes to provide a high-quality lunch-time experience for pupils.
• Support and promote healthy lifestyles and safe, engaging play.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, governors and the wider school community.

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team to support with providing a high-quality lunch time experience for our children. We are a fun friendly team, working very closely together and we will make you very welcome.

Working Hours: 5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 12.00pm - 13.00pm, term time only

Salary: Medway NJC E2,3 £2,894pa (£25,614 FTE)

Start Date: ASAP
