Job summary

Newdigate Primary School and Nursery is seeking a committed Midday Supervisor to join our team at Anderton Road, Bedworth, Warwickshire. You will supervise pupils at lunch indoors and outdoors, promote good manners, support healthy eating and help maintain a safe, positive lunchtime experience.

We value calm, reliable candidates with experience working with children, good communication and teamwork skills. The role offers training, a supportive staff community and a chance to contribute to pupil

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm and reliable, able to manage behaviour positively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime indoors and outdoors.

Newdigate Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all pupils.

The Role

• Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both indoors and outdoors.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage good manners and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of pupils at all times.
• Support children during lunch service and encourage healthy eating habits.
• Supervise OPAL games and activities in the playground.
• Assist with minor first aid incidents, following school procedures.
• Report any safeguarding, behavioural or welfare concerns to the appropriate staff member.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and orderly lunchtime environment.
