Job summary

Meon Junior School in Plymouth is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to supervise pupils in the dining areas during lunch, promote safe and positive behaviour, and support a happy lunchtime atmosphere.

You will work as part of a team, undertake basic welfare tasks, assist with spillages and cleaning, and take part in training to develop first aid skills and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to attend training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining areas during lunch.
• Ensure good standards of behaviour by pupils.
• Assist with ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, keeping tables clean).
• Provide welfare support to pupils, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training).
• Attend relevant training sessions to increase knowledge and skills.
