Job summary

King's Academy Northern Parade (Infant) is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to help children enjoy a safe and happy lunchtime. You will supervise activities indoors and outdoors, support positive routines and promote friendly play among pupils.

We value warmth, approachability and a willingness to engage in playground activities. Experience with children is desirable, and you will work closely with staff to maintain a calm, inclusive lunchtime environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime and playtime indoors and outdoors.

Midday Supervisor - Make Lunchtimes matter!

Are you energetic, caring and passionate about helping children have a happy, safe and enjoyable school day? We’re looking for a fantastic Midday Supervisor to join our team and make a real difference to our pupils during lunchtime.

This is so much more than simply supervising lunch — you’ll be an important part of our school community, helping children make the most of their break, supporting positive friendships and creating a safe, fun environment where everyone can enjoy themselves.

What will you be doing?

As a Midday Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise children during lunchtime and playtime, both indoors and outdoors.
• Help create a fun, safe and positive playground environment.
• Encourage children to play together, develop friendships and resolve minor disagreements.
• Support children during meal times, promoting positive lunchtime routines.
• Keep a watchful eye on children's wellbeing and safety.
• Organise and encourage fun playground activities and games.
• Be a friendly, approachable and positive role model for our pupils.
• Work closely with school staff to ensure children have a happy and enjoyable lunchtime.
