Job summary

Stanton Vale School is seeking a Midday Learning Support to supervise pupils during the school day. You will help ensure safe, positive lunchtimes and support pupils with activities, under the guidance of the supervising staff.

The role is 15 hours per week maximum, term time only, and requires a friendly, team-oriented approach to working with children. Experience with autism or learning difficulties is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and young people.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of autism/learning difficulties or challenging behaviour is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils throughout the day during midday period.
• Support safe, positive lunchtime activities and supervision.
• Assist staff as part of the school team.
