Job summary

Colnbrook School in Watford is seeking a friendly midday supervisor to join our caring team at lunchtimes. You will help supervise children aged 4-11 during lunch, ensuring their safety and well-being in a calm, supportive environment.

The role is part-time (8.75 hours per week, term-time) with a permanent contract and an focus on safeguarding, teamwork and a positive, inclusive school culture. The school ethos is Ready Safe Kind and there is on-site parking.

Colnbrook is a school for children aged 4 - 11, who have a wide range of learning needs and we are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic midday supervisor to help look after our children at lunchtime.

Pay Spine: HA - Actual Salary approx £4828 per annum

Hours: 11:40 - 13:25 - Term Time (5 days per week)

Contract: Permanent

Duties include:

• The care and supervision of children during the lunchtime period, with responsibility for their health & safety, welfare and good conduct.
• Supervise the children when they are in the dining room eating lunch, outdoors in the playground and in the classroom.
• Helping to set up, clean and tidy the dining halls

In line with our safer recruitment Policy, Colnbrook School will:

• Request the successful applicant to register with the DBS Update Service each year. Registration lasts for 1 year and costs £16.00 per year.
