Job summary

WMJobs is seeking a Midday Care Assistant to support learners during lunch break at a term-time only, permanent post. The role is 10 hours per week, 11:30am to 1:30pm, and pays £5,852 per annum.

You will assist with personal welfare, feeding, and play to help learners stay safe and engaged. You will work closely with teaching staff and assistants, building strong relationships with pupils to identify and support individual needs.

While working under the instruction of the teaching staff and nominated teaching assistants, a Midday Care Assistant will support the personal needs of learners through play, assisting with their personal welfare and feeding of an individual or small group of learners. The Midday Care Assistant will work alongside and nurture a good relationship with teachers and teaching assistants, to identify and support the specific needs of the learners. Communication and people skills, as well as being flexible and dependable is required for this post, to meet the needs of the children.
