Job summary

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking a friendly Midday Assistant for Lakelands Primary School in Stanway, Colchester. You will supervise children during lunch and outside play, help model a family dining ethos, and ensure children feel safe, secure and happy.

Full training will be provided and we welcome flexible, family-friendly working arrangements. The role offers a supportive school environment and opportunities to collaborate across Trust schools with CPD access.

Qualifications

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly person to take care and manage children during their lunch break as a Midday Assistant.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Will be ensure our children feel safe, secure and happy during their lunch break. You will also help model our lunchtime ethos of family dining; helping others, good table manners, taking risks when trying new foods. The successful candidate will be flexible in their attitude and able to work as part of a team. Duties include both supervising children whilst they eat their lunch and during outside play. Full training will be given.

Lakelands Primary School is a brand new primary school that opened in September 2020 with state of the art facilities in Stanway, Colchester. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2026.
