Job summary

Shorefields School in Clacton-on-Sea is seeking a part-time Mid Day Assistant to support pupils with severe learning difficulties. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12:00–13:30, term time only.

Applicants should have experience in related fields, understand learning difficulties, and possess strong communication skills. You will work as part of a team and be eager to learn new skills in a supportive environment.

This position is from Monday to Friday, term time only, hours 12 noon to 1.30pm.

Actual annual salary from £4,409.77 (for less than 5 year service with ECC) and £4,470.45 (for more than 5 years with ECC)

Information about the School

Shorefields School caters for the needs of pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties. We currently have 177 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19 years. The school is located in the centre of Clacton-on-Sea close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
