Job summary

Poulton Lancelyn Primary School is seeking a Midday Assistant to supervise children at lunchtime, ensuring their welfare in the dining hall, playground and classroom. The role requires a caring, committed person who works well in a team and can inspire trust in children.

The post is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 11:30am to 1:00pm, with interviews commencing in early October 2026. Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required as part of safeguarding procedures.

Overview of the Post -

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join the dedicated team at Poulton Lancelyn Primary School to assist with the supervision of children at lunchtime. The role involves supervising the welfare of children aged 2-11 in the dining hall, playground and classroom.

We require a caring, committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence in children.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, flexible and a good team player, who is dedicated to ensuring that lunchtime is a pleasurable and safe experience for our children.

The current vacancy is for 5 days, Monday to Friday, working from 11.30am to 1:00pm.
