Job summary

Redgate in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer (Mid) to deliver meaningful features end-to-end across core platforms used by the business and customers.

You will work across a tech stack including C#/.NET, React and Azure, with observability tooling, and will join a hybrid team that blends in-office collaboration every two weeks with remote work where suitable. The role offers up to £55,000 depending on DOE and experience.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with modern C#/.NET, SQL, source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bias for simplicity and maintainability with strong engineering practices.
• Awareness of distributed systems and operational risk.
• Ability to investigate production issues using logs and telemetry.
• Strong written and spoken communication with partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver significant features end-to-end across systems relied on by the business.
• Influence architectural decisions and deepen understanding of the platform.
• Own production issues from investigation to resolution and prevention.
• Work across data, security, licensing, identity and usage areas.
• Collaborate with product partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
