Job summary

CLAAS UK Saxham is seeking a Technical Instructor (Mid-level) to independently deliver technical training to internal and external stakeholders, focusing on Service Engineering for agricultural machinery.

You will plan and deliver courses, develop materials, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and safeguarding of delegates. Collaboration with product and service teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Land-Based Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes (Teams/PowerPoint)
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare training courses on agricultural machinery for face to face and virtual training
• Develop and update training materials reflecting current products, processes and industry standards
• Support continuous improvement of training programs based on feedback and industry trends
• Support on global academy projects and topics
• Deliver training courses on agricultural machinery and related technologies
• Assess delegates progress and provide constructive feedback
• Deliver training in a safe and effective learning environment
• Maintain safety standards during training sessions
• Monitor welfare and safeguarding of delegates
• Promote equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion
• Engage with delegates to provide guidance and answer technical questions
• Collaborate with product development/service teams to ensure content accuracy
• Liaise with external stakeholders professionally
• Maintain full working knowledge of agricultural machinery products and processes
• Engage in CPD and teaching qualifications
• Continue professional development
