Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Structural Revit Technician in Epsom to develop and maintain robust BIM models and detailed drawings for a varied portfolio. You will support engineers and coordinate across disciplines to ensure accurate delivery of structural designs.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit skills, 3D BIM experience and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering accurate structural BIM models and drawings.
• Solid understanding of structural drawings, detailing and construction.
• Experience in a structural/civil engineering consultancy environment is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Structural Revit Technician

Epsom

£50k-£60k plus benefits

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join their growing team in Epsom and play a key role in delivering high-quality structural design and BIM information across a varied portfolio of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with a strong structural engineering background and solid Revit skills who enjoys producing technically accurate models and drawings and working as part of a multidisciplinary design team.

The role will involve developing and maintaining structural Revit models, detailed drawings and construction information, alongside supporting engineers with the delivery and coordination of structural designs. The successful candidate will also be involved in model reviews, clash detection and the coordination of information across different disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience using Autodesk Revit for structural engineering.
• Good AutoCAD 2D skills.
• A solid understanding of structural engineering drawings, detailing and construction.
• A civil or structural engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or equivalent.
• Experience working within a structural/civil engineering consultancy environment.
• Good knowledge of BIM processes, model coordination and drawing production.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple project deliverables.

Experience with Navisworks, RC detailing, Civil 3D, Dynamo or Revit add-ins would be advantageous, as would experience working on multidisciplinary infrastructure, energy, buildings or transport projects.
