Mid-Day Supervisor Needed – SEN School in Warrington

Are you looking for a rewarding role with hours that fit perfectly within the school day? Academics is urgently recruiting for a Mid-Day Supervisor to work in a special educational needs (SEN) school based in Chester. This is a temporary position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in education or take the next step in their support career.

📅 Working hours: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday). This role offers part-time hours during the middle of the day – perfect for those with other commitments or looking to return to the workplace.

Your Role as a Mid-Day Supervisor:

As a Mid-Day Supervisor, you'll support students during their lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive social interaction. You’ll be working alongside dedicated staff in a nurturing SEN environment, helping create a structured, caring lunchtime routine.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys working with children and young people
  • Is confident in building relationships with pupils and staff
  • Has a calm, patient, and understanding approach – particularly important in an SEN setting
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic, and a team player
