Job summary

Head Resourcing Ltd. is seeking an IDS Engineer (Infrastructure & Digital Services) to join a Glasgow-based public sector IT operations team.

The role focuses on delivering 2nd/3rd line technical support within a multi-partner Microsoft environment, maintaining core infrastructure services and contributing to digital service improvements. You will troubleshoot across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, Active Directory and related infrastructure, manage incidents via ServiceNow, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• 2nd/3rd line Microsoft-focused support experience.
• Experience managing Microsoft stack: M365 Tenant/Subscriptions, Windows 11, Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID.
• Experience with Microsoft endpoint management (Intune, Windows build/config, policy/compliance).
• Experience in ITSM/Service Desk using ServiceNow and meeting SLAs.
• Knowledge of Scottish Public / Scottish Government is advantageous.
• M365 Certification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows OS, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
• Manage Incidents and Service requests through ServiceNow with timely resolution.
• Collaborate with 1st Line support, project delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
• Assist with implementing new technologies and service improvements as required.
