HCL's Microsoft Business Applications Practice is seeking to hire a Microsoft D365 Project Manager to join our award-winning and growing team.

The Microsoft D365 Project Manager will act as the senior liaison between customer and internal teams on Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects (implementations, customizations, migrations, and more).

You may be responsible for one or more aspects of the project including project management, business analysis, configuration, data, training, and support.

The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, able to multitask, meticulously organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. The D365 PM carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting customer requirements and completing the project.

Essential Functions

  1. Lead and manage mid-sized to enterprise projects independently
  2. Participate in design and architecture sessions with clients
  3. Gather and document business processes (current and future state)
  4. Advise customers on best practices for CRM processes, user interface, and architecture
  5. Assist technical consultants with architecting Dynamics 365 CRM or xRM systems, related customizations, and reports to model the client’s organizational processes
  6. Assist in developing project budgets and ensure work is completed on track and within budget
  7. Write specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
  8. Facilitate team resources in data migration, translation, integration, training, custom development, and reporting
  9. Configure and customize the Dynamics CRM/365 system based on design specifications
  10. Coordinate with overseas teams on custom development, complex customizations, and portals
  11. Develop test plans and scripts
  12. Conduct system and end-to-end testing of the application
  13. Schedule work and follow up to ensure completion within the project schedule
  14. Communicate daily with the customer to guide the project
  15. Conduct weekly status meetings and send updates
  16. Lead design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate work and gather feedback

Required Skills and Experience

  1. F&SCM experience with global rollouts and preferably manufacturing experience
  2. Experience with PRINCE 2 / AGILE Project Management or similar methodologies
  3. Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology related to sales, marketing, and customer service departments
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Comfortable communicating with clients at all organizational levels
  6. Master’s Degree in business, finance, or computer science, or Bachelor’s Degree in these fields
  7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
