Job summary

Aurora Energy Research in Oxford is seeking a Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer to join the Internal Technology team. Based in our Oxford office, you will own design, delivery, and operational improvements of Microsoft 365 services.

You will work across Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and related services, developing SOPs, governance and documentation to keep our environment reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365-based solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Ability to create, maintain and govern SOPs, knowledge articles and process documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts to design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise configuration aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, governance, and documentation for stable operations.
• Own system areas within the Microsoft ecosystem, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.
• Participate in projects to expand the technology landscape and deliver aligned outcomes.
