Job summary

Aurora Energy Research in Oxford, UK, invites a Solutions Engineer to join its Internal Technology team. You will own delivery and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365-based services, ensuring robust, well-documented operations and effective governance across Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.

You will work independently and with the team, translating business requirements into practical solutions, producing SOPs, and contributing to an efficient employee

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering well-engineered Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Experience with Entra ID and Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Ability to deliver backlog stories with minimal supervision.
• Experience creating knowledge articles, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to implement processes that empower Internal Technology to support Aurora.
• Design and implement well-engineered Microsoft solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Microsoft configurations supporting business goals.
• Participate in projects to extend the technology landscape and deliver changes.
• Own specific systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability with IT support.
