Job summary

CloudyIT is hiring a Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer in Buckingham. You will plan and deliver migrations from discovery through cutover, testing and handover, owning assigned projects and communicating clearly with customers.

You'll work with Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, configuring tenants and data migration using approved tools, while maintaining security standards and project documentation. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Ability to troubleshoot identity, mail flow, permissions, DNS and data migration issues.

Responsibilities

• Gather migration scope, dependencies, risks and customer requirements.
• Prepare migration plans, checklists, schedules and customer communications.
• Configure Microsoft 365 tenants, domains, identities, licences, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint and device settings.
• Migrate email, files and collaboration data using approved tools and CloudyIT processes.
• Complete pre-migration checks, pilot activity, cutover tasks, validation and post-migration support.
• Apply CloudyIT security and technical standards throughout each project.
• Maintain accurate project records and handover documentation.
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of progress and decisions.
• Identify and elevate technical risks or blockers at the appropriate stage.
• Coordinate with support desk for smooth transition into ongoing support.
