Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced M365 & Messaging Engineer to design, deliver and support Microsoft-based cloud solutions across customer environments. You’ll tackle complex technical challenges in M365, Exchange, Azure and Entra ID while contributing to cloud transformation and modernisation projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises and Hybrid.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with mail flow, SMTP routing, migrations and email security.
• Knowledge of Purview, retention, eDiscovery and compliance.
• Azure infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, monitoring and security.
• Automation skills using PowerShell, with Graph API, Azure CLI or Azure Automation beneficial.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ ARM/ Terraform).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience supporting enterprise technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage email security and compliance across Proofpoint, Defender, Purview, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Support identity services including Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO and Entra Connect.
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure, networking, storage and compute services.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep or Terraform.
• Implement Azure monitoring, governance, security and access controls.
• Support CI/CD, containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provide third-line technical support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, security, infrastructure and application teams to deliver effective end-to-end solutions.

Are you an experienced Infrastructure and M365 Engineer looking to work with the latest cloud, messaging and identity technologies? We're looking for a M365 & Messaging Engineer to join our growing Consultancy & Engineering Practice at Computacenter.

You'll work across a variety of customer environments, helping to design, deliver and support secure, resilient Microsoft solutions. From M365 and Exchange to Azure and Entra ID, you'll tackle complex technical challenges while contributing to cloud transformation and modernisation projects. You'll join a highly skilled team where you can share ideas, develop your expertise and continue learning as Microsoft technologies evolve.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, retention, eDiscovery and compliance.
• Azure infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, monitoring and security.
• Automation skills using PowerShell, with experience of Microsoft Graph API, Azure CLI or Azure Automation beneficial.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Bicep, ARM or Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience supporting enterprise technology platforms.

Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, alongside Azure Security, Networking, Architecture, Terraform, DevOps or ITIL certification, would be advantageous.
