Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Microsoft 365 & Messaging Engineer to design, deliver and support secure, scalable Microsoft solutions across customer environments. You will work on Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure and Entra ID to address complex challenges and support cloud transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, and security/compliance tooling.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104 or equivalent) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimise Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot complex messaging, mail flow and platform issues.
• Deliver mailbox migrations, tenant consolidations and modernisation projects.
• Manage email security and compliance across Proofpoint, Defender, Purview, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Support identity services including Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO and Entra Connect.
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure, networking, storage and compute services.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep or Terraform.
• Implement Azure monitoring, governance, security and access controls.
• Support CI/CD, containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provide third-line technical support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, security, infrastructure and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong experience with Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises and Hybrid.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with mail flow, SMTP routing, migrations and email security.
• Knowledge of Purview, retention, eDiscovery and compliance.
• Azure infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, monitoring and security.
• Automation skills using PowerShell, with experience of Graph API, Azure CLI or Azure Automation beneficial.
• Experience with IaC, ideally Bicep, ARM or Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience supporting enterprise technology platforms.

We're looking for a Microsoft 365 & Messaging Engineer to join our growing Consultancy & Engineering Practice at Computacenter. You'll work across a variety of customer environments, helping to design, deliver and support secure, resilient Microsoft solutions.
