Job summary

Brigg Scientific Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a Derby-based food testing company, is seeking a Lab Technician for a busy temporary assignment.

The role covers streak plating, sample receipt and labeling, sample preparation, aseptic techniques, autoclave use, and general laboratory duties. Work pattern: Tuesday to Saturday, with 2pm–10pm Tue–Fri and 10am–6pm Saturday; immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic laboratory duties.
• Familiarity with streak plating is a plus.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques is desirable.

This Brigg Scientific Recruitment client are a Food testing company based in Derby. They are looking to recruit and additional Lab Technician for a very busy period.

Key duties include:

• Use Aseptic techniques
• Use of Autoclave
• General laboratory duties

The role in Temporary in nature for an initial 4 months.

Days of work are Tuesday to Saturday.

Hours of work are 2pm - 10pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am - 6pm on Saturday.
