About the Role

CK Group is recruiting for a Microbiology Team Leader to join a pharmaceutical company at their Wokingham site on a contract basis until the end of January 2026. Salary: £20.94 per hour PAYE. Shifts: Thursday – Monday, 09:00-17:00, including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality customer service by organizing workload, ensuring data integrity, and delivering timely results.
2. Review data analyses performed by junior staff.
3. Perform routine and investigative analyses, interpret results, and support method development, transfer, and validation protocols.
4. Maintain laboratory instruments and systems, including checking and approving supplier reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Good understanding of laboratory equipment and chemical analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including bank holidays.
