Job summary

Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL) seeks a Scientist I to perform routine and investigative microbiological analyses, including bioburden, endotoxin, and identifications, ensuring projects meet contractual agreements.

Based primarily in Wokingham with potential site attendance; you will train junior staff, support laboratory management, and maintain quality and safety standards. RSSL offers a range of benefits within the Mondelēz International family.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data handling.
• Experience in regulated environments and GMP knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological analyses including bioburden, endotoxin, and identifications.
• Provide high quality customer service and timely results.
• Train and supervise junior team members as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and QA records in LIMS and Q-Pulse.
• Work across RSSL sites as needed.
