Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Administrator to join the Microbiology team at Wonford, Exeter, providing essential administrative support to managers, consultants and biomedical staff.

The role requires strong IT and communication skills, with experience using Epic EPR and other NHS systems. 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm, with both full- and part-time options. Fixed-term until 09/01/2028; NHS staff secondment considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Microbiology team, Managers and Consultants.
• Monitor consultant and laboratory email inboxes and clinics; answer phone calls.
• Support laboratory meetings and other administrative functions; maintain schedules and records.
• Use the electronic staff record system daily and assist with general duties as required.
