Job summary

HIDE, the Michelin-starred restaurant in London, is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team during service and maintain spotless work areas. The role is based on site in London and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will assist with cleaning, stock storage and basic food preparation while upholding health and safety standards and working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth daily operation. Opportunities for growth and a competitive pay package are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and cookware
• Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting with the safe storage and organisation of kitchen supplies and deliveries
• Supporting the kitchen brigade with basic food preparation tasks when required
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with company procedures
• Working efficiently as part of the kitchen team to support the smooth running of daily service
• Demonstrating a respectful attitude and responding professionally to the demands of the management team
