HIDE, a Michelin-starred restaurant in London, is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join a three-floor venue near Green Park. The menu emphasizes seasonal produce, mostly sourced from small UK farmers and suppliers.

In-house charcuterie, bread, jams, and more are prepared on site. The Kitchen Porter will help maintain cleanliness, support with basic prep, and assist in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and cookware
• Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting with the safe storage and organisation of kitchen supplies and deliveries
• Supporting the kitchen brigade with basic food preparation tasks when required
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with company procedures
• Working efficiently as part of the kitchen team to support the smooth running of daily service
• Demonstrating a respectful attitude and responding professionally to the demands of the management team

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Michelin-starred HIDE.

HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight.

Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breathtaking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sizeable à la carte menu showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers and suppliers from across the UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors.

Everything is made in-house wherever possible: from charcuterie and bread to jams, juices and pickles.

As Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for the following:
