Secure Trust Bank PLC is seeking an MI Manager to lead the transformation of Risk reporting and shape reporting strategy across the Bank. This senior role involves engaging with executive stakeholders and championing new technologies to deliver insightful, data-driven decisions.

The position focuses on designing Power BI dashboards, building scalable data models, automating data sourcing, and advancing governance across Risk, Data and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions with data modelling knowledge.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, experience with Alteryx or similar tools to transform and automate datasets.
• Experience automating reporting processes and reducing manual MI workloads.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear executive-level insights and actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of Risk reporting across the Bank, engaging senior stakeholders to shape strategy.
• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for senior Risk stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level visualisations to simplify risk data and support decision-making.
• Build scalable data models and reporting frameworks meeting multiple business needs.
• Utilise SQL, Alteryx and other transformation tools to automate data sourcing and reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to improve governance and data quality.
• Lead automation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and replace spreadsheet work.
• Explore Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities to enhance reporting and insights.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data and Technology teams to embed sustainable improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement, documenting best practices and knowledge sharing.

  What you`ll be doing

  Lead the transformation of Risk reporting across the Bank. This high-profile role offers the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, shape reporting strategy and drive meaningful change across the Risk function. Combining strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and technical expertise, you'll champion the adoption of Power BI, automation and emerging technologies such as AI and Copilot to deliver smarter insights, streamline processes and support better decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.

• Design and deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear, actionable insight for senior Risk stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level visualisations that simplify complex risk data and support informed decision-making.
• Build scalable, reusable data models and reporting frameworks that meet multiple business needs.
• Utilise SQL, Alteryx and other data transformation tools to automate data sourcing, preparation and reporting processes.
• Integrate and rationalise data from multiple sources, improving data quality, consistency and governance.
• Lead the automation of reporting processes, reducing manual effort and replacing spreadsheet-based activities with scalable solutions.
• Explore and implement Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities to enhance reporting, automate insights and identify trends, exceptions and areas requiring management attention.
• Partner closely with senior Risk leaders to transform reporting from descriptive outputs into meaningful business insight and forward-looking risk intelligence.
• Act as a hands‑on transformation lead, working across Risk, Data and Technology teams to deliver sustainable reporting and analytics improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, enhancing reporting quality, increasing efficiency and embedding best practices, documentation and knowledge sharing.

• What we`re looking for

  Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, with a strong understanding of data modelling and BI best practice.

  Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with experience using Alteryx or similar tools to transform, automate and optimise complex datasets.

  Demonstrable track record of automating reporting processes, streamlining MI environments and reducing reliance on manual reporting.

  Ability to produce high-quality executive-level reporting, translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience gathering requirements and delivering practical analytical solutions.

  Experience leading change and delivering reporting transformation initiatives across multiple teams, ideally within a regulated environment. Experience in financial services, risk, consumer lending, AI/Copilot, cloud-based data platforms or reporting governance would be advantageous.
