Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Team Manager to lead the Mental Health Support Teams across Gloucestershire, covering Cotswold, Stroud and Dursley locality. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week (full-time) with secondment considered depending on your current role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in CAMHS or related services.
• Strong leadership in day-to-day team management and staff development.
• Excellent partnership working with education, CCG, and voluntary sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and line management of MHST practitioners (Band 4/5 EMHPs, Band 6/7 Leads).
• Coordinate operational processes: referrals, caseloads, reviews, safeguarding, and clinical risk.
• Embed routine outcome monitoring to demonstrate improvements for children and families.
• Plan and deliver against key milestones and demonstrate strong decision-making.
• Provide operational leadership to MHSTs and ensure service performance.
• Collect and analyse data for audits and performance reporting.
• Oversee locality operations for Cotswold, Stroud & Dursley.
