Job summary

The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Practitioner for the Mansfield & Ashfield area. The role is 22.5 hours per week, part-time, with a hybrid balance of in-school and community-based work to support early intervention for children and young people.

You will deliver brief, evidence-based interventions, work with schools to identify need, and collaborate with CAMHS and other agencies to promote positive mental health

Qualifications

• Registration with the relevant professional body.
• Experience delivering therapeutic work to children and families in CAMHS.
• Experience in educational settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one work with children and young people.
• Advise and support education staff to promote positive mental health in schools.
• Deliver brief, early-intervention interventions.
• Collaborate with a wide range of agencies for joined-up support.
• Duty responsibilities and school-based drop-ins.
• Hybrid role of school-based and community working.
