Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Duckmanton site. You will deliver MHE operator training, inductions and refresher sessions, maintain training records and support safety KPI reporting.

The role operates on a permanent 4 on 4 off days pattern (06:00–18:00) with a target of reducing MHE incidents and ensuring compliance with site safety standards. Salary £32,000 per year plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MHE training to staff.
• Maintaining accurate training records and site skills matrix.
• Support risk assessments and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive Health & Safety culture on site.
• Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions.
• Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and correct processes.
• Maintain training records and site skills matrix.
• Complete workplace assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents.
• Provide KPI and monthly training reporting across shifts.
• Cover training requirements across shifts.
